Broiled Salmon Steaks

From:  cooks.com     Yield:  3 steaks
Ingredients:
  • 4, 1/2 pound salmon steaks
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 16+ Ritz crackers, crumbled
  • 1 Tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • cooking spray
Directions:
  1. Grease a shallow sided aluminum baking pan with olive oil spray.  Place fish steaks on pan.  Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter, then toss with ritz crackers.  Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the fish.  Sprinkle with parsley.
  3. Broil without turning, until the edges of the fish are browned and the flesh is a whitish pink (no longer clear) and it is flaky when tested with a fork.  This should take about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Squeeze with lemon juice and garnish with a parsley sprig and lemon wedges.
