Salsa

Ingredients:
  • petite diced tomatoes, strained (or fresh roma tomatoes, diced)
  • onion, diced
  • cumin powder
  • garlic
  • cilantro, chopped
  • jalapeno, seeded and diced (but set the seeds to the side)
  • lime juice
Directions:
  1. Figuring out the right ratio is completely to your preference.  Put all ingredients in blender and puree.
My Notes:
  • I start with one regular can of diced tomatoes, and add a little of all the other ingredients. If it gets to be too strong, I just add another can of diced tomatoes and go from there.
  • I add the jalapeno seeds only a couple at a time, until it has just the right amount of bite. I'm not a big spicy fan, so I don't put in many.
