Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup (shortening or butter - not sure)
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add sugar, shortening, and eggs and blend well.
- Stir in milk, banana and nuts. Pour into loaf pan and bake 1 hour.
