Ingredients:
- 1 box generic devil's food cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 small box chocolate pudding mix (4 serving size)
- 1 cup half & half
- 8 ounces cool whip
- powdered sugar (optional)
- strawberries, sliced (optional)
- cooking spray
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease mini muffin tins with cooking spray.
- Mix cake mix, butter, and egg together. Mixture should be crumbly. Mash into mini muffin tin 1/2 full.
- Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven, make indent (soda bottle top works well), and let cool for 15 minutes.
- In medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix, half & half, and cool whip.
- Transfer into zip-lock bag, cut small hole in corner, and squeeze into tarts.
- Store airtight in fridge. Just before serving, sift powdered sugar over top. Also, you can top with a slice of strawberry.
My Notes:
- I have used regular milk instead of half & half and it turns out great.
