Easy Chocolate Pound Cake

From: Pillsbury Devil's Food cake mix
Ingredients:
  • 1 box devil's food cake mix
  • 1 small box instant chocolate pudding mix (4 serving size)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour Bundt pan.
  2. Combine all ingredients and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Bake 50 - 60 minutes. Use toothpick test to see if done.
  4. Cool in pan for 25 minutes.
My Notes:
  • My silicone bundt pan requires only cooking spray.
  • I have had the best results with 60 minutes flat baking time.
  • I drizzle vanilla frosting over the top.
  • Variation: to change flavor, change devil's food cake mix for yellow, the chocolate pudding for vanilla, and add 1 - 2 teaspoons flavored extract (lemon, almond, etc.).
