Ingredients:
- 6 cups + 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 2 Tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
- 1/3 bag Country Pasta Homemade Style Egg Pasta
- chicken broth
Directions:
- In a large pot, add water, salt and chicken and boil until cooked. Remove chicken, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until later. Strain broth and return to pot.
- Place 1/2 cup water and onion in blender and puree for 30 seconds, then add to pot along with carrots, celery and bouillon. Bring to boil and add pasta and more broth if needed and cook until done (according to package directions).
- Meanwhile, cut or tear chicken into chunks. After noodles are done, add chicken and heat through.
