Ingredients:
- 1 loaf french bread
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- pinch salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- cooking spray
Directions:
- Slice french loaf into thick slices.
- Preheat griddle to 350 degrees or skillet to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and milk. Add salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar and beat until well blended and fluffy.
- Grease griddle or skillet with cooking spray.
- Dip each french bread slice into egg mixture, then squeeze to remove excess liquid, then reshape.
- Place on griddle and let cook until browned, then flip and cook until browned again.
